The most interesting thing about putting together Upstaged. was having the opportunity to watch the evolution of a high school musical from weeks before students prepare to audition through closing night. The experience is much like watching a sketch transformed into a work of art or seeing a blueprint drawn and then built -- only substitute drawing with music, painting with jokes, and construction labor with dance choreography.
