Michael Kinney competes in a tournament with a powerful and graceful Martial Arts form, or Kata. The appreciative audience of over 300 gave him a enthusiastic ovation. This is a competition form created by Mr. Kinney, and filmed in 1985. This day, he won 1st place over 15 other Black Belts in the men's senior division (over age 35).
Mr. Kinney's school, Kinney Karate, is based in St. Petersburg, Florida. He has been a Black Belt since 1969. Over 600 Students participate weekly in his school. Mr. Kinney's influence is international with thousands of students training worldwide. Thank you for watching.
