By avoiding memory triggers, trauma survivors that need help the most are often the least likely to seek it. This is the major reason we created a series of practical self-help videos, which should be used in the same order as they are numbered.
In video 4, we suggest adding certain lyrics to the tune we have been humming in the previous three videos. This provides us with a self-affirming song, that we can silently sing, while tuning our emotional instrument. This helps overcome the negative attitudes we sometimes develop about ourselves, whenever suffering the effects of trauma.
