The Mix Master rapids on the Moose River (this isn't the time I got stuck under the raft, but it certainly was one of the most dangerous rapids we went through). Every raft but one flipped here. We actually made it down easily the first time because we had such a great guide, but we were kind of bored by the easy run, so we convinced the guide to let us carry the raft back up stream and try a more aggressive approach. This is what happened. It's a little difficult to get a perspective for the hydraulics at the bottom, but let me just tell you that they were huge; they were powerful enough to bend one boat into a taco shape and suck my dad and another 260+ adult under the water for a good long time.
