Vietnam, 1968. A young American soldier is tormented by the war.
The year is 1968. Following two failing semesters in college and forced to go to work for his father’s company, a young married man is drafted into the Army. He is sent to Southeast Asia to fight in the Viet Nam War. He feels very alone and is haunted by the memory of his wife back in ‘The States’. His Company Sergeant delivers a ‘cold slap’ reality check, when he informs the young soldier that his personal problems are due to the fact that he hasn’t made a ‘kill’ in combat yet.
His opportunity to immerse into the reality that he is in the ‘killing fields’, comes soon.
