Things aren’t looking good for elderly Native American George Mason… until his new best friend – a Canada goose – shows him life isn’t over until it’s over.
It’s been a long, sometimes-hard life for George Mason; and in his mind spending the rest his days in a retirement home is hardly worth the effort.
Then the goose comes along. Soon, the old man’s cast iron heart softens and he begins to change the way he thinks: The relationship he never really had with his son becomes more important to him; he sees his granddaughter through eyes much wider; and a young boy he meets by the lake is given an opportunity to take a different road than he once might have. For the first time in many years, there’s a bounce in George’s step.
