Melody tries out for the lead in the school play (to be a beautiful princess). After receiving the part, she takes the role too far, acting every bit the princess by refusing to help on the production and demanding special treatment. The others play a trick on her by messing up their parts in dress rehearsal. Only then does Melody realize that it is not the star alone that makes a play successful.
