Bright Eyes and Patch convince the ponies to camp out at Pony's Peak, where a UFO has recently been sighted, but the police have barricaded off the area. The next day at school a balloonist visits (Mr. Kadoo) who is an "old Friend" of Miss Hackney's. Before he starts his presentation, he invites them all to tea. Impatiently, Patch gets into the balloon and her and Bon-Bon accidentally take off in it. When the adventure goes awry and they start to crash, the "UFO" comes to save them, and turns out to be a magical group of glowing Pegasus. Their leader, Brightglow, advises Patch to be more cautious
