This show presents two adjacent regions, their products and their history. In a brief enological tour we look at the Muscadet of the Nantes district and the Atlantic coast, Vouvray with its still and sparkling wines, Chinon its Gamay, and an occasion when Wine Cavaliers in traditional costumes conduct a ceremony to induct new members to their brotherhood. A visit to the wines of Bourgueil, Vendome Caves de Haut Poitou, and Samur with its renowned Red Champigny. The Loire is the land of the Chateaux, and we look at Amboise, residence of Charles VIII and tomb of Leonardo da Vinci, Chateau Villandry, an outstanding location, with its vines and classic French garden.
