In celebration of Freedom to Read Week, Canadian Journalists for Free Expression and The Walrus Foundation present a public debate about journalists and the importance of protecting sources.
Panelists include Andrew Mitrovica, a National Magazine Award winner and one of Canada's leading investigative journalists; Brian MacLeod Rogers, an expert in media law; Marci McDonald, investigative journalist and former Maclean's Washington bureau chief; and Paul Knox, journalist and Chair of the School of Journalism at Ryerson University. Ken Alexander, editor of The Walrus, will moderate the panel.
