"Walk a Mile in My Shoes" is the first-ever national awareness campaign in the U.S. designed to bring attention to this devastatingly painful, life-threatening genetic disorder in which the skin breaks down between its layers, creating a chronic condition of wounds and blisters similar to a 2nd or 3rd degree burn.
Legislation was passed in Congress and the Senate in 2006 to create this week. Please join us by participating in the Relay or associated Relays across America, attend a Rally to support the EB community and families challenged by EB, sponsor the event, or get involved in any of the other activities.
Please help us to foster understanding about EB in America!
