"The Day of Wrath" is an urban symphony that combines characters and images from the streets of Santiago with the feverish discourse of the Divine Antichrist, a homeless Chilean, who is both a luminous madman and sui generis writer. Through his thoughts, dreams and interaction with others, we discover the most bizarre and apocalyptic side of urban life. However extraordinary his ramblings may be, it's not until the end, when a common man gives his opinion on the Antichrist, that we actually realize normality is stranger than madness and a real city can be scarier than all the conceivable hells.
