The Petreaus Report...well it's not really a report, it turns out that Petreaus will report to Congress but he won't be putting anything on paper. I guess there just isn't much to tell. I read a column earlier comparing Petreaus to William Westmoreland, and that's not a good thing.
Did you know that the war has shrunk? Yes, the war is no longer the Iraq war, but is now only the Anbar Province war where the Sunni leaders have taken up arms against Al Qaida for the time being. The only problem is, once Al Qaida is taken care of, there's still although Shiites. And there is the problem of government corruption in Iraq.
Bin Laden is back and in good health. He took a trip down to the local drugstore to buy some dye for his beard. Uh...who said he was going to get Bin Laden dead or alive six years ago. Oh yeah, the shrub. All this and more.
