OMG I’m so happy I finally get to see them taste real food for the first time. They first takes taste tests of everything in their environment. They sort of digging the bedding/pushing it away, looking and sniffing as in, looking for something below. Not for long I noticed they chew on mommy’s bits I then hurriedly made some chopped vegetables. Their real first food, chopped vegetables. LOL I’ve lowered the bottle water making sure they are able to reach it.
It’s so cute to see them learn how to carry the food with their two paws, while practicing on their balancing act. Babies are also forming some early exercise habits by flexing and stretching his tiny little legs. Isn’t they cute or what. Oh oh... few more days to go and I’m able to hold them. I’m excited.
As for mommy she is still on her high fiber food with 1-2 drops of liquid vitamins specific for hamsters daily.
