The Range Busters are a gang of vigilante do-gooders that uphold the law in lawless California during the gold rush in the nineteenth century. The nineteen forties western classic film Underground Rustlers pits the Busters against a clever group of thieves that have developed a system of tunnels to move stolen gold through. The Range Busters, led by “Crash,” “Dusty,” and “Alibi,” must ferret out the tunnels and restore peace and civility. Throughout the fist slamming action, the film treats the viewer to some beautiful shots of California in the nineteen forties, and some time honored tunes from Dusty.
