"Unlocked" was produced for the Fox reality show ON THE LOT as part of the advanced stages of the application process. Robert Kirbyson competed against other top applicants to deliver a film under the following constraints:
- Assigned a logline on Day 1: "Skeleton in the closet"
- Delivered finished film on Day 7
- Written, cast, shot, edited, scored & sound-mixed in a week
- Required to use non-union actors
- No budget
