"There are millions of people in this city, every one of them unique. Many of them quite eccentric, yet we all live behind these gigantic concrete facades, totally anonymous."
A young filmmaker sets out to make a documentary about 'urban eccentrics', the fascinating characters he imagines the city to be full of. But his would-be subjects are less than cooperative. People living in ordinary urban banality, are, it turns out, rather ordinary and banal. His luck seems to be changing when he meets a chatty caretaker with a vivid imagination, but something is not quite right...has he bitten off more than he can chew?
