FREE OF CHARGE is the product of the 168 Hour Film Festival in Los Angeles. The project went from script to screen in one week. It was shot in one day and produced on a total budget of $1000. Ranked as a Top Ten film in the competition, FREE OF CHARGE won the awards for Best Actress (Marieke Douridas), and Best Original Score (Darren Johnston & Cat Jahnke), as well as being nominated for Best Screenplay (Spencer Lewerenz & Christopher Riley), Best Actor (Haynes Brooke), and Best Supporting Actress (Jennifer Potter).
