O Ieova lou Malu (Jehovah is your Protector) was written specifically for OPERA ELIJAH, performed in 2002 by the youth of the United Samoan Church, Carson, California (Pastor: Rev. Matagiese Tunoa). It was again featured, with chamber orchestra and an all-female United Samoan Church choir, at the OSA Performing Arts Christmas Praise, 2004. WORDS by: Aloalii Lutu. MUSIC and ORCHESTRATION by: Namulauulu Paul Pouesi. We dedicate O Ieova lou Malu to all our Samoan men and women serving in the military. May God keep and protect you. To Him alone be the glory.
