MAKATI CITY, Philippines--The Peninsula Manila celebrates the Christmas season with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra and guest conductor Ruggero Barbieri, together with The CompanY and the UP Concert Chorus. With a repertoire of 22 songs, the concert resonated with the warmth and joy of Christmas even after the Makati standoff that saw Senator Antonio Trillanes IV and his supporters taking over the hotel on Nov. 29.
