This is a realistic and faithful western! The Law Commands balances the sinister elements of the Old West with a flair for realism that makes for an excellent film. Not your usual cowboy hero, Tom Keene stars as a doctor who wants to protect his community with the legal system instead of guns. But the West was known for lawlessness, and Keene’s passive tactics quickly land the whole town in a mess of trouble. The Law Commands features deft acting and honest values from its characters, including the beautiful leading lady Larraine Hayes.
