Civil War tore Dennis Parker’s life apart. The horrors he suffered in war-torn Liberia made him – in swift succession - an orphan, an amputee and an outcast. Left to beg on the street, his future was bleak. Amputee football was Dennis’ saviour. He started playing the game and began to realize his talent. He is now a star for his club and national team, playing teams from all over the world. Dennis has reclaimed his life and his extraordinary story has become a symbol of hope for all Liberia.
