My 1st decent looking fluid simulation in Blender 2.45. Like Linux, Blender 3d has been made by the people, for the people. It's superior to many 3d programs I have used.
(Products made this way are better than corporate products, they are made in a spirit of goodwill, not greed. The best thing you can do to help this world is to boycott Every corporation you can, in every way that you can... that is, don't work for them, don't buy from them, and politely convince as many others to do the same. Let them shrivel up and wither away.)
This sim wasn't too difficult to set up, it just took a lot of time to render, in 2 stages... 1st the meshes were rendered, then the textures & lighting were applied and everything was rendered to avi format.
