私は25年間、南米アンデス地方の先住民族の笛ケーナを演奏してきました。「コンドルは飛んで行く」などの有名な曲を、現地の人が吹いているがごとく真似をして演奏してきましたが、模倣には限界があり本物を越えることは出来ないと気付きました 。私は日本人から見たインディオの生活やアンデスの自然をイメー ジしたオリジナル曲、または我々日本人が普段慣れ親しんでいる ポップスやフュージョンなどの曲調を積極的に取り入れ、ケー ナで表現していきたいと思っています。皆さん、よろしくお願いします。ケーナ奏者Masahiko
