MANDALUYONG CITY, Philippines--Mega Data Corp. president and COO Rafael Garcia IV, explains how a smart card, dubbed the clearance renewal card, will eventually do away with manual processing of clearances at National Bureau of Investigation kiosks located in popular malls, and offices of the law enforcement agency nationwide. The clearance renewal card is needed to operate automated clearance machines, which were designed to issue paper-based clearances and accept payments, almost similar to using an automated teller machine.
