Dr Lindsey Hathcock, a local chiropractor and former chairman of the Bradley County Commission mounted a respectable campaign for the State Senate seat. He was defeated by Dewayne Bunch, in what many call a sabatoge by the local Bradley County Republican Party and the powerful SEG.
