Back in 1997 Australian PM John Howard’s 1st step on the road to “Work Choices” was to support the attempt to remove union representation from Australia’s wharves. That action included the training of para-military mercenaries to forcefully take the jobs of unionists. The actions were defeated by the union in court. Before the last election Howard’s team revisited the issue creating an ad with a unique view on history.
