This is a really great and very important episode, which resolved two long-running storylines: the custody battle between Sam and Rachel, which ends with the long-awaited custody hearing; and we finally found out who was really the father of Jane's unborn baby. It features a lot of flashbacks of Jane, and of Sam's parents before they died in the car crash.
