While on vacation with her grandparents, a rich playgirl gets cited for smoking in a non-smoking area by a border patrolman. She humiliates him and he resigns in protest of her treatment of him. Her wealthy grandparents decide that he is the perfect man to act as her bodyguard and he reluctantly agrees to this job. Meanwhile, she has fled to Mexico where she’s been conned into acting as the mule for a jewel thief who claims to love her. Her new bodyguard saves her from a sham marriage to the thief, but she still manages to get in more trouble concerning the huge amount of jewels she’s been given by her lover. Eventually, her upstanding bodyguard gets her back to the loving arms of her grandparents, teaching her a little respect along the way.
