I love showing views of life and events we normally miss or don't see.
The contrast of the ultra modern electric train, and the dumpsters and alley which- except that the dumpsters are mostly plastic now- look like something you could have seen 100 years ago is quite striking.
(Yes, I know, such trains ran 100 years ago too, but they've changed and modernized, while in alleys you feel lost and cut off from time... society... etc.)
