Jesus describes GOD as "Our Father", a revolutionary new way to look at GOD that makes HIM easier for us to understand. A good parent would never forsake a child, even though the child was imperfect. How much better is GOD than a mortal parent so we can be assured that HE will never forsake us even though we are imperfect.
