Film clip for the song "Out of Body" which appears on the album "Devil and Daughter" (2004 Audrey Records, 2007 Bang! Records), the first solo record for Stu Thomas, Australian music artiste, known for his bass-work with Kim Salmon & The Surrealists, The Lurid Yellow Mist featuring Dave Graney & Clare Moore, and as leader of The Brass Bed, Stu & The Celestials and The Stu Thomas Paradox.
The song has been a staple in Stu's solo work since it was written in a hungover stream-of-consciousness in 1993.
Footage comes from Carthage, Tunisia 2004, in Roman ruins which were once the site of a massive multi-storey bath-house complex.
The Romans themselves destroyed the buildings, leaving the rubble we see today. Amazingly, there are many, many mosaics intact and some of these feature in this film.
This film is part of the "travelogue series" of clips accompanying the "Devil & Daughter" album.
