Dale and his spouse decided to become foster parents after being together for fifteen years. They chose to mentor and open their home to a gay male teenager between the ages of twelve and fifteen. He explains why they came to that decision & some details about the ten week process used by The Salvation Army to match homeless kids with foster parents. A fuller description of that process can be found in my previous vlog entitled "Salvation Army Seeks Foster Parents for Homeless Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender Youth".
