Project Downtown Fort Lauderdale has been serving people in Fort Lauderdale since October 2006. We started with about 20 people that we talked to and provided meals for. On this particular day on January 26, 2008 we fed about 90 people.
It's not the food that brings people to the park. It's the interaction. We treat our brothers and sisters like brothers and sisters. We don't judge them, and they don't judge us. We gain from them more then they could ever get from us.
