Young isn't striking out batters like he used to and is struggling with command as he has walked 12 batters in 17 innings pitched. Dan Haren has given up only 2 earned runs over 12 innings in his last 2 starts. Haren only allows only 1 base runner per inning and doesn't walk too many batters. Haren has gotten the strikeout this season as he gets 1 per inning and will face a Padre team the worst in baseball striking out averaging about 8 per game. ...
