I love cycling, I've been a cyclist. I've also hit a car, been hit by a car, and worked a year in a level I trauma center where I saw the results of blasting through stop signs.
I don't excuse rudeness or illegality on the part of cars or pedestrians. I've had many a car come close to running me over too, but on those occasions I'm generally too busy saving my own scrawny hide to capture it on video.
But it never ceases to amaze me how those at the greatest risk of injury do the very things most likely to incur it.
