This Mountain Lake Journal Special Report will look at how the U.S. has waged a battle that has cost hundreds of billions of dollars, and has destroyed countless lives. The in-depth television program will highlight one of the major pipelines that supplies drugs to the nation’s biggest cities, which happens to run right through the North Country.
News reporter Thom Hallock leads the in-depth investigation and joins as host for the special. He will show how big a problem ‘America’s other war’ really is and how much of it resides within our own communities. Hallock will facilitate an on-air roundtable discussion right after the program airs, opening up the topic to a representative from the Drug Enforcement Administration, a police chief, a district attorney, a drug counselor, and a school principal from the region.
