This is such a good series with tons of mystery and intrigue. Where we stood after the first issue was with the avengers out in the savage land with a cast and crew of other heroes climbing out of a skrull space ship, an orchestrated attack by skrull imposters on the earth’s technology centers including the Baxter building, shield, sword, and Stark Enterprises. And the Skrull armada standing at earth’s door. In this issue the tension breaks in the savage land and the heroes begin fighting until a T-rex comes along and answers a few questions. The Spidey who came on the ship gets crushed and it is revealed that he is a skrull. The same goes for Hawkeye. but it appears that not everyone is a skrull as Mockingbird reveals some info that only the human mockingbird would no. Just when we thought we were going to narrow down the captain America thing she goes and vouches for this one.
