The Loudspeaker is comedy spoof and romance rolled into one bizarre and highly entertaining film. A cocky and booming young bravado, Ray Walker is perfectly cast as a self assured radio star who forgets all the important things in life on his way to fame and fortune. Despite the protests of his modest and lovely sweetheart (Jacqueline Wells), Walker focuses on nothing but himself and his career. His radio broadcasts hilariously parody the top programs of the day, such as Ed Wynn and The Boswell Sisters. The Loudspeaker is an ever amusing romp through radio in the nineteen thirties as well as a charming love story.
