Yes, sweatshops are in an American Commonwealth. On an island called Saipan, a huge garment operation has been producing clothes with "Made in the USA" labels and many of these shirts are being sold in America by large corporations. Meanwhile the sweatshop workers are on an island that has a $3.05 minimum wage, despite the fact that it uses U.S. dollars. These workers are ********* by low wages, and long hours at work, while living on an island they considered America. These are mainly young female Asians from poor villages.
