The Androscoggin County History 1854-1954 video was produced without sound. Later the AHS made an audio tape which at a later date could be added to the movie and/or an reel to reel play could be used to add the sound to the movie. For some unknown reason the location of the movie tape and the audio tape are both missing. Working with a VHS converted copy new footage recorded in 2008 has been added. Sorry no sound other had dead air has been added. Please call 207-784-0586 if you have any information of the location of the sound track of the original 1854-1954 Androscoggin movie. This might be a small part of our history of Androscoggin but is important to us all.
