Fundación Niña Maria is a non-profit organization in Chia, Colombia that provides a safe, supportive and empowering home for more than 80 abused and abandoned children between the ages of 2 and 18. This organization provides not only meals, housing, and medical care, but psychological care as well. At the Niña Maria home children become part of an extended family where they are provided with the love, caring, protection and guidance needed to empower them. Surrounded by supportive staff and encouraging teachers the children attend classes, do household chores, and play in a safe environment where they can grow and dream of a bright and promising future.
