The Magic Loungeabout is a new kind of festival for summer 2008.
We're calling it a 24 hour musical picnic.
We've found a gem of a location which allows us to stage the event within the buildings and landscaped gardens of Newburgh Priory. It has stunning views across the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and is in its own area of outstanding natural beauty. Ultimately, it will allow us to create a really intimate and refined experience. (We want it to be the perfect lazy weekend with family and friends)
We'll start at 12 on Saturday and finish at 12 on Sunday. We felt a serene 24hrs would be preferable to the current trend of a drawn out 4 days. You don't have to stay over; but if you do you can stay in our Yurt village or bring your own tent - it will be like having the keys to your very own 11th century garden.
