The Bhangra king Malkit Singh, is one such Pop Star in the Punjabi music industry who has managed to reach to the hearts of Indians and foreigners alike, with about 100s Punjabi albums to his credit. A Bhangra pop icon, Malkit has made the country proud by receiving the MBE award from the British government. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry which was presented to him by Queen Elizabeth II. Recently he gave his live performance in a party at Hotel Crown Plaza, New Friends Colony.
