The new pound-for-pound king looked absolutely awesome moving up from junior lightweight and delivering a beating to David Diaz to win a title via ninth-round knockout June 28. Pacquiao has now won titles in five divisions, not bad for a guy who began his pro career at 106 pounds. Next up could be a November defense against junior lightweight beltholder and massive puncher Edwin Valero. If all goes well, junior welterweight champ Ricky Hatton and more history could be next.
