This song is about the inbetween period in a relationship where things are starting to happen (ie. take things to the next level). But in order for this to happen sacrifices must be made. In this case it's been 10 summer days since the girl has left her guy and is staying at her sister's place. And, of course time is standing still for both of them while they want each other to think everything is fine... It's a love song :)
