Joanne LaPointe, Curator of the Franco-American Heritage Center of Lewiston Auburn, Maine. Ms LaPointe was the first person to have her talk taped as an audio file. The AHS saw the value of their program talks and wanted to record them so future generation might be able to also be educated from these talks. It was also planned to do some audio histories with the older residents it being 1776-1976 for the USA, We will now have to ask the question where are the extra tapes, if any?
