Twelve years have passed since Paul "Maud'Dib" Atreides called the Fremen who live in the desert to start a war against the last remnants of the Old Empire. In those twelve years all planets were colonised one by one and brought under the command of Maud'Dib. From this chaos rose House Atreides as the Great Power on the desert planet Arrakis. But the imperial regime is not allpowerful. The archnemesis, Baron Harkonnen, still tries to take control of Dune and its mysterious lifeforce.
