This is the second out of 3 videos of my first storm chase ever. This also occurred on 7/10/08.
With the passage of the squall line, I headed back north on I-90. I could see cumulus forming in the distance that later produced lightning. I stopped to get pictures of the storms, but the second I got out of the car, rain just started pouring down. I played around with mounting my camera on my dashboard (I plan on getting a mount for later chases), then I moved on up north. My portable weather radio stating that the storm had turned severe (spotter reported quarter-sized hail at mile marker 93 I believe). Met up with the hail later on. It was quite loud but it didn't hurt my video. You'll see in the video that the lightning was quite frequent. It remained that way through the whole storm.
