Zeitgeist was created as a not for profit expression to inspire people to start looking at the world from a more critical perspective and to understand that very often things are not what the population at large think they are..
A lot of the controversy about this film seems to stem from the first part about religion..
I just wanna say i DO believe in a higher power...
But, it's a higher power that loves us, & wants us to be able to make our own way in life & trusts we know the difference between right & wrong..
It's a higher power that wants us to ask questions & seek out a better knowledge & understanding of the world around us.. & does not mock learning & scientific discovery..
It's a higher power that does not use blackmail, guilt, & threats of eternal torment to see force it's message upon us...
